If you need to make changes to a clients program, firstly you will need to know the current status of the program, whether it is an Upcoming Program meaning the client has not started it, or is it their Current Program, meaning that the client has started some sessions within the program. You will also need to know if the program is a Duplicate Program or not. A Duplicate Program repeats the same programming over the duration of the program length. When the duplicate feature is turned on, it activated the clients 'Recording History' function, allowing the user to view previous week's recorded data and add notes to assist with progression tracking.

Upcoming Program
An Upcoming Program is a program that a trainer has made and is complete, yet the client has not started it yet.
Step 1: To find out, go to the Clients page in the right-hand side menu, find the client who's program you are wanting to edit. In the 'Upcoming Program Status' column you will be able to see if the client program is in complete, draft or create program status. The program is an 'Upcoming Program' if the program is in completed status (green 'Completed' button). Click on the 3-dots and from the drop down select 'View/Edit Upcoming Program.'
Step 2: The Client Program Builder page will open and from here you will be able to go in and edit a session by clicking on the 3-dots and from the dropdown selecting 'Edit.'
Editing a Clients Program
There are many ways to edit a Clients Program, from changing out an exercise with another exercise, changing exercise instructions, recording data, coach notes or adding new templates.
If you are editing an Upcoming Program, making changes is easy. You can just go into their program and make any edits needed.
If you client has started their program, you will need to know if the program is a duplicate program or not. If the program is a duplicate program, please read through this article.
There are a four ways to make changes to a program, these are;
- Changing out an exercise with another (Step 5)
- Changing an existing exercises exercise instructions (Step 7)
- Changing an exercises recording data / adding coach notes (Step 8)
- Adding a new template (Step 9)
Changing out an exercise with another exercise
Follow Steps 5 to 6
Step 5: Once you have your clients program that you want to edit and you are on the Client Workout Builder, locate the exercise you want to change out and click on the rubbish bin icon under the exercise video. This will delete this exercise from the template. Here we will be swapping out exercise A2 with another exercise.
Step 6: Drag and drop the new exercise into the empty exercise template. Add in your exercise instructions, coach notes and any recording data. Click 'Save' in the top right hand corner and you will be taken back to the Client Program Builder page.
Your clients program will be updated, along with any other changes you wish to make to the program.

Step 7: Open your client's program to the Client Workout Builder, locate the exercise you want to change the Exercise Instruction for. Click on the dropdown menu and select your new Exercise Instruction. Click 'Save,' you will be taken back to the Client Program Builder.

Step 8: Open your client's program to the Client Workout Builder, locate the exercise you want to change recording data/coach notes. Here we will be selecting the 'client to record data' box and then selecting both distance and calories for exercise WU1. Click 'Save,' you will be taken back to the Client Program Builder.
Adding a new template

Step 9: Open your client's program to the Client Workout Builder, and scroll all the way to the bottom of the session that has already been created and you will find the template bar. Select a new template that you want to add in.
Step 10: Drag the exercises you want into your new template, select exercise instructions, and any recordings or coach notes.
Step 11: If you would like to have the newly added template higher up within the Session, use the arrow on the right hand side to move it up.
